SunSpot Monday

Today we (tried) to get up and running with the Sun SPOT, which we were more or less told to use instead of the Arduino. There was a lot of problem getting the SDK to work on the XP machine we used (the OSX worked excellent though).

I spent most of the day trying to connect to a Sun SPOT base station to recieve the signals that the SPOT in the bag sends. There was little success so we instead decided to only use the Mac for the direct communication with the SPOTs. We are getting a little stressed about finishing in time, so we we're all pretty frustrated that the was so much problems using the Sun SPOT instead of the Arduino.

David assembled the cables from the bag onto a bread board and we tested that we got the proper signals from the sensors. Jesper then stuffed the bag and closed up.

We also had an importand group meeting where we delegated the remaining tasks to the members. As the deadline approaches fast, its getting more and more important to exactly know who is doing what so as much effort can be put into actual project work. The focus is currently mainly on the software side (the game), and on the presentation.
